33% of the energy consumed in Canada is by buildings. There is much you can do to reduce the amount of energy your building consumes.
Our energy assessments are conducted by a Certified Energy Manager who will introduce you to energy efficiency and grant information and answer any questions you may have about the best upgrade options for your building.
The energy assessment has three parts:
1. Building Inspection
Our Certified Energy Manager will visit the building to identify cost-effective energy saving opportunities. This will involve inspecting all mechanical and electrical equipment, the building envelope (roof, windows and walls), as well as a few typical suites or offices.
2. Energy Analysis
Data from the Building Inspection, along with utility bill data from the owner, and cost estimates from a contractor, is analyzed using engineering calculations to determine the opportunities for energy cost savings.
3. Report
The Energy Analysis is summarized in a report, which identifies the most cost-effective bundles of energy upgrades, their estimated capital costs and paybacks, and various grants and incentives available.
